Once you've signed up for your ewallet account you will first need to confirm the email address you used upon signup. You should receive a confirmation link via email. Click the link and then you can proceed with the rest of the signup, completing your full personal information.
After your account setup is complete you will be prompted to upload Verification documents.
EVERY Paxum account MUST be verified in order to comply with KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations issued by the bank and card issuer.
We take your privacy and confidentiality VERY seriously and ALL submitted documentation is kept safe offline.
Verification requirements are as follows:
Local clients
All clients located in USA and Canada must provide:
i) One (1) proof of identity with picture;
AND
ii) One (1) proof of address.
International clients
All clients located in countries other than USA and Canada must provide:
i) Proof of identity, which is considered to be one of the following:
1) One (1) passport with name in Latin characters, or a notarized translation if name is written in other characters, OR
2) Two (2) different other proofs of identity, each with picture;
AND
ii) One (1) proof of address.
Please note that acceptable proofs of address are:
i) Bank statement for both local and international clients;
ii) Utility bill for both local and international clients.
