Add Funds To Your Paxum Account: Checks

You can fund your Paxum account in a variety of ways; from wires to checks, ACH/EFT if you're in the US, and P2P payments for everyone!

This blog entry features the ability to add funds to your Paxum ewallet account through the Check method.

Fees involved in this option are $25 USD for Business accounts, and $5 USD for Personal accounts.

Simply visit ADD FUNDS inside your Paxum Account Admin and specify how much you will be submitting. After you insert the information you will be provided with instructions on where to mail your check payment so that we can deposit the funds into your Paxum account.

Please Note: We do not accept regular checks but only certified checks, international money orders, cashiers checks, and tellers checks.

Check funds are deposited immediately to your Paxum account upon receipt of the check itself. You may send your checks to us through any postal service you desire.

Paxum Conflict Resolution

When you send a P2P (peer-to-peer) payment through Paxum you are protected by both Customer Reputation and Client Risk Rating features.

Unfortunately, even with such measures in place there will occasionally be a conflict about a payment sent and/or received.

P2P payments with Paxum cannot be charged back, however you do have the option to file a Conflict Resolution request which will enable you to reach out to the other party involved in your conflict in order to seek a satisfactory solution for all parties involved.

Add Unlimited Email Addresses!

When you sign up for an account with Paxum, your username, and the way that people will be able to send money online to your account, is via the email address you used to signup.

The primary email address you signup with is the login for your account, and is also the email address that will be displayed EVERY time you send money to a fellow Paxum customer.

Some customers prefer to manage their received payments through a variety of email addresses to help monitor certain payment types or payment sources.

With Paxum this is made VERY EASY for you since you can add UNLIMITED email addresses to your Paxum account.

All you must do is verify each email address, and that is easy to do by simply clicking the link in the confirmation email you receive. Once the email has been confirmed then you can ALSO receive payments to your Paxum account via that email address.

ALL received payments will be delivered to your Paxum 'Checking' ewallet account where you can choose to withdraw those funds through a variety of methods.

Charitable Organizations - Welcome To Paxum!

Paxum Security: Whitelist

Since Paxum offers its clients the ability to select their preferences on who they wish to do business with based on both Customer Reputation and Risk Rating, we do understand that there are some people you may wish to send money online to regardless of their Reputation or Risk Rating.

That's just one great reason we have also implemented a Whitelist feature. You can add ANY Paxum client to your Whitelist simply by adding their Paxum email address to your personal Whitelist.

You will find this feature located under Security >>> Whitelist within your Paxum account admin.

Paxum Security: Customer Risk Rating

Along with our other Security Measures and implementations, Paxum also provides an additional way to ensure you are only doing business with trusted members.

The Customer Risk Rating is based on a variety of factors to ascertain an appropriate 'risk factor' for each individual Paxum client. These figures are NEVER published, however each Paxum client has the ability to only do business with customers within a specified "Risk" bracket.

Risk Ratings are listed from 1 to 5, with 1 being 'Very Low Risk' and 5 being 'Very High Risk'. If you want to be able to send payments to EVERYONE regardless of their Risk Rating then you need to set your level to 5.

You can locate and adjust this feature inside your Paxum ewallet account under Security >>> Risk Level

ACH - Deposit And Withdrawal

Another one of Paxum's funding and withdrawal methods is ACH, which stands for Automated Clearing House, and essentially is a way to pull your Paxum funds directly into your bank account.

This option is currently only available for those personal and business clients who use a US bank account.

Available for just a $5USD fee, ACH is a popular funding and withdrawal method for many US Paxum ewallet clients.

Withdrawals To An Already Existing Credit/Debit Card

Paxum offers a variety of easy ways to get your money in your pocket. One of our popular additions is the ability for clients to load already existing credit cards or debit cards with their Paxum funds.

It's very simple to get setup with this feature. Simply add the credit/debit card you wish to send your Paxum funds to, and then make your funds transfer request under 'Withdraw Funds'.

Withdrawals to a previously existing credit card take about 4-7 business days to complete and there is no maximum cap on the amount you can withdraw.

Fees associated with this withdrawal method are $6USD or 1% of the transaction, whichever is greater. Straightforward and easy!

Picture ID Expiration Date Requested

When you next login to your Paxum ewallet account you may see a notification that you need to complete an update to your Identity Expiry Date. This is in relation to the picture ID that you uploaded for verification purposes.

Please provide the expiration date by clicking the link you see inside your Paxum Account Admin.

If your picture ID does NOT have an expiration date (some European Drivers Licenses and other ID's do not have expiry dates) then please insert TODAY'S date (whatever day you are visiting your account) and add TEN YEARS to the date.

ie:, today is April 15th, so if you were to update today you would simply insert April 15th 2021.

Please note: the above only applies to those picture ID's that do not have an expiry date. If your picture ID DOES have a valid expiration date, then please provide that as requested.

Paxum Security: Customer Reputation

Customer Reputation allows you to be more discerning in who you send payments to through the Paxum Ewallet Payment service.

Customer Reputation is based on submitted ratings by fellow Paxum clients who have sent P2P payments over $100USD to the specific Paxum client in question.

Customer Reputation uses a numeric system 1 to 5; 5 = Very Good, 1 = Very Bad. Ratings are compiled from all submissions and an averaged rating is assigned to that customer. If no customer reputation ratings have ever been submitted then there is simply no rating for that customer.

Customer Reputation can be searched based on Paxum email address, and this can be done within Account Admin under the Security >>> Search Reputation feature.

It's easy to set the Customer Reputation level you're comfortable with. Find out more by visiting the Security section of your Paxum ewallet account.

Easier Way To Test Your Pay Now Buttons

For those Paxum clients who have been having a hard time testing their Pay Now buttons, you'll be pleased to know we have updated our system to allow customers to send themselves money.

This feature was not previously enabled since there was no viable reason for it. Now that there is one, we have switched on the ability to send payments to yourself so that you can fully test your Pay Now Buttons before putting them live!
